Quy Neel, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Quy Neel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Neel has specialized training in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She obtained her doctoral degree from UCSB, and completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC)/ Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Her clinical training and work experience encompass settings that include counseling centers, hospitals, university-based clinics, along with the home, school, and community. Her approach to treatment, family support, and staff development are informed by her dual background in the fields of psychology and applied behavior analysis. Dr. Neel has served in a clinical leadership role since joining STAR of CA in 2008. She resides in Santa Barbara with her husband and two children.
